THE SPEED LIMIT WITHIN
THE CAMPGROUND IS
5 MPH FOR ALL VEHICLES
AND IS ENFORCED AT ALL TIMES.
Racing or revving of engines
or any form of extreme riding will not be tolerated. "Take it to the
trails!". No riding of vehicles anywhere within the campground,
except to reach your campsite.
The two mile stretch of road between Windrock Campground and the trail head is 15 mph, and is
strictly enforced by the county sheriff's department, Windrock
Campground, and Coal Creek Mining Company. The purpose of this is to
assure no accidents or injuries, and that you can continue to ride the road to
the trails, instead of having to
"trailer your OHV's".
It only takes one person to ruin the privilege of riding the road.
Please respect our neighbors and do not speed or rev your engines on
this two mile stretch of road.
3.
